Associate - Employment

The role

Trowers & Hamlins is seeking an Associate in Employment with 1-5 years of PQE to join their Birmingham office. This is a fee-earning role with significant responsibility, focusing on advising clients on strategic employment matters and managing tribunal claims.

What you'll do

• Advise clients on a range of strategic employment matters
• Draft employment contracts, policies, and disciplinary and grievance procedures
• Manage employment tribunal claims from initial instruction to resolution
• Support complex transactional employment matters
• Handle data subject access requests
• Contribute to the team's profile through thought leadership articles, seminars and client events
• Develop deep sector knowledge and maintain cutting-edge awareness of legal developments
• Build long-term client relationships
• Maintain excellence in file management
• Engage in comprehensive firm-wide and departmental training programmes
