Technology IP Transactions - Mid-Level Associate at Goodwin

The role

Goodwin is seeking a mid-level Associate to join their Technology IP Transactions group in Boston. This role focuses on technology and intellectual property licensing, M&A due diligence, and drafting/negotiating various strategic alliance and licensing agreements within the IP practice area.

What you'll do

Draft and negotiate joint development, collaboration, and other strategic alliance agreements
Draft and negotiate technology and intellectual property licenses and services agreements
Draft and negotiate distribution agreements
Provide IP support for M&A and other corporate transactions

What we're looking for

Solid experience in technology and intellectual property licensing

Solid experience in other technology transactions

Experience in IP support of M&A and other corporate transactions

Experience in drafting and negotiating joint development, collaboration, and other strategic alliance agreements

Experience in drafting and negotiating technology and intellectual property licenses and services agreements

Experience in drafting and negotiating distribution agreements

Outstanding academic credentials

Comparable law firm experience

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Relevant bar admission or eligibility to obtain admission promptly

Deal sheet required

Demonstrated experience with open-source software license terms· nice to have

Demonstrated experience with intellectual property issues presented by artificial intelligence technology and tools· nice to have
