The role

Hall & Wilcox is seeking an experienced Property lawyer, at the Associate or Senior Associate level, to join their national Property & Projects practice in Melbourne. The role focuses on a broad range of real estate projects for a diverse client base, including property funds, social impact enterprises, and institutional clients.

What you'll do

Act nationally on the sale and purchase of major real estate assets
Handle residential and mixed-use developments
Manage commercial and retail leasing
Work on renewable energy projects, land assembly and compensation

What we're looking for

At least 4 years of post-admission experience in property law

Significant experience across general real estate law matters

A strong client service ethos

Excellent technical and drafting skills

Strong analytical and legal research skills

Ability to manage files for a range of real estate transaction and general property matters with minimal supervision

Good ability to delegate to and supervise junior lawyers in the team

A proactive attitude to embracing technology in legal practice

Technical expert in property law who can apply problem solving and judgement to achieve legally and commercially strong solutions· nice to have
