The role
Baker Botts is seeking an Income Tax Associate with 4-7 years of experience to join its Tax practice in San Francisco, Austin, or Dallas. The role focuses on advising on complex international tax planning and cross-border structuring for sophisticated transactions.
What we're looking for
4 to 7 years of experience at an Am Law 100 or Am Law 200 firm
Significant experience advising on corporate international tax planning and cross-border structuring, including the design, implementation, and post-implementation of complex acquisitions, business combinations, restructurings, global expansions, and fund structures
Highly technical yet able to integrate tax considerations within broader business and transactional structures
Strong academic background
Excellent communication skills
Ability to collaborate closely with other groups and clients on sophisticated, high-profile matters
Ready to join a highly collaborative practice group
Additional experience with M&A transactions is a plus· nice to have
