Principal Associate - Corporate at Mills & Reeve

The role

Mills & Reeve is seeking an experienced Principal Associate with 10+ years of PQE to join their Corporate practice in Norwich. This role focuses on M&A and other corporate transactional work, advising a diverse client base.

What you'll do

Lead and manage a variety of corporate transactions, including M&A and private equity deals, acting as the day-to-day lead with Partner support
Draft and negotiate key transaction documents while driving matters forward efficiently and commercially
Work closely with colleagues across our national offices and specialist teams to deliver seamless client service
Supervise, mentor and develop junior lawyers, helping to shape the next generation of talent
Build and strengthen client relationships while contributing to business development and networking initiatives that support the continued growth of the team

What we're looking for

Qualified solicitor with 10+ years' PQE

Strong track record in corporate transactional work gained within a national, international or respected regional practice

Significant experience handling M&A transactions

Confidence leading complex corporate matters independently and as part of a wider team

Strong commercial awareness and excellent client relationship skills

An interest in a broad range of corporate work and a collaborative approach to delivering results

Enthusiasm for mentoring junior colleagues and contributing to business development activities

Experience of private equity transactions· nice to have
