The role
TSMP Law Corporation is seeking Associates and Senior Associates with 4 years of PQE to join their Banking & Finance and Private M&A team in Singapore. The role involves providing legal advice and services on complex transactional matters within these practice areas.
What you'll do
- Deliver first-rate legal advice and services across a broad spectrum of matters
- Advise on complex banking and finance transactions, including general bank lending, leveraged and acquisition financing, syndicated lending facilities, and capital markets issuances
- Advise on private mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, private equity and venture capital investments, equity fundraisings, and a wide range of other banking, corporate, and commercial mandates
What we're looking for
Singapore-qualified lawyer
Minimum of two years’ post-qualification experience
Strong technical grounding in core areas of corporate and banking law
Meticulous attention to detail
Commitment to producing work of the highest quality
Proactive, commercial mindset with the drive to take ownership of transactions from inception to completion
Collaborative team player who thrives in a fast-paced, high-calibre environment
Excellent drafting, negotiation, and communication skills
Experience in a transactional Banking & Finance or Corporate team in a reputable firm
Experience with complex banking and finance transactions, including general bank lending, leveraged and acquisition financing, syndicated lending facilities, and capital markets issuances
Experience with private mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, private equity and venture capital investments, equity fundraisings, and a wide range of other banking, corporate, and commercial mandates
Candidates with a strong grounding in general Corporate Practice who are eager to pivot into a Banking & Finance role· nice to have
Candidates who would like to progress in both practice areas· nice to have
