Consulting lawyer - Funds & Asset Management - Singapore at A&O Shearman

The role

A&O Shearman is seeking a Consulting Lawyer for their Funds & Asset Management practice in Singapore. This role is for an experienced lawyer, with a minimum of 4+ years of PQE, who specializes in fund formation, offerings, registration, distribution, marketing, investment management, and regulatory compliance.

What you'll do

Step into a team to support a project
Take on a senior manager role working on major transactions, regulatory change projects or implementation

What we're looking for

A right to work and reside in Singapore

Qualification to practice in at least one of England & Wales, the United States, Hong Kong, Singapore or Australia

A minimum of four years' post-qualification experience at a top tier law firm in this field

Self-starter with a commitment to building a career as a consultant and a drive to achieve at a high level whilst working as a consultant

Adept at leading or working within complex multi-functional, multi-national project environments

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interface at all levels, building strong relationships internally and externally

Client service-focused, with exemplary client service ethic and commitment

Strong commercial/business acumen

Resilient, adaptable, autonomous and highly credible

Advanced organisational skills and diplomacy

In-house legal experience at leading financial services institutions/corporates preferred (directly or as a secondee)· nice to have

Benefits

Assignments are usually two to six months in duration

Assignments tend to require you work a minimum of four days per week
