Funds Associate at Stephenson Harwood

The role

Stephenson Harwood is seeking a Funds Associate with 2-6 years of PQE to join their Hong Kong office. The role involves advising clients on a broad range of funds-related work within the firm's global Funds practice.

What you'll do

Take instructions from clients and work with the team to advise on a broad range of funds related work
Draft and negotiate documentation
Undertake advanced research and analysis
Project manage processes from initial structuring through to fund launch
Provide guidance on issues relevant to funds and asset management
Build and maintain strong client relationships through delivering excellent client service and business development activities
Mentor and develop the junior members of the team

What we're looking for

2-6 PQE

Proven experience in fund structuring and regulatory compliance

Excellent academics and professional qualifications

Enthusiastic with good communication, writing and analytical skills

Highly organised, with a strong attention to detail and ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously and prioritise effectively

Good housekeeping/file management practices; managing and recording time promptly and accurately

Resilient with the ability to handle pressure

Cooperative, collaborative and able to develop excellent working relationships

Operates professionally and proactively

Self-aware and an active participant in self-development

Hong Kong qualified· nice to have

Chinese language (written and spoken) capability· nice to have
