Commercial Dispute Resolution Lawyer - Client Secondment at DWF

The role

DWF is seeking a Commercial Dispute Resolution Lawyer with 3 years of PQE to join a major telecoms client on a permanent secondment in London. This role involves working within a medium-sized in-house legal team, focusing on commercial litigation and dispute resolution.

What you'll do

Support the in-house team in all aspects of their work
Liaise with and instruct external lawyers and counsel in connection with new and ongoing litigation / disputes matters
Assist the various departments within the business in dealing with contractual disputes (including pre-litigation advice)
Assist with internal legal ad hoc queries
Deliver training to wider commercial and legal parts of the business
Manage external spend budgets

What we're looking for

3 years+ PQE

England & Wales qualified lawyer

Expertise in commercial dispute resolution gained in a commercial law firm

Experience of English High Court litigation

Previous in-house experience· nice to have

Experience of mediation· nice to have

Experience in dealing with matters in the CAT· nice to have

Experience of arbitration, adjudication and other forms of ADR· nice to have

Collaborates well as part of a medium-sized in-house team supporting a larger business· nice to have

Enthusiastic, personable, hard-working, well presented, with a commercial outlook· nice to have
