The role

O'Melveny & Myers is seeking a Technology Transactions Associate with 4-6 years of experience to join their Technology practice in San Francisco. This role focuses on structuring, drafting, and negotiating commercial, technology, and intellectual property agreements.

What you'll do

Structure, draft, and negotiate a variety of commercial, technology and intellectual property agreements
Serve as the IP specialist for M&A, venture capital and other corporate transactions
Advise on IP and privacy issues
Draft and review various commercial agreements, including license agreements, development agreements, distributor and reseller agreements, customer and supplier contracts, and OEM and manufacturing agreements
Manage associated transactions

What we're looking for

4-6 solid years of experience in technology transactions

Substantial technology transactions background

Solid experience as the IP/Technology Transactions specialist supporting M&A, financing and private equity deals

Experience advising on IP and privacy issues

Experience drafting and reviewing various commercial agreements including license agreements, development agreements, distributor and reseller agreements, customer and supplier contracts, and OEM and manufacturing agreements

Experience managing associated transactions

Comfortable working with colleagues and teams across multiple offices

Capable of handling and running several matters at once

Strong academic credentials

Excellent written and oral communication skills

Background or interest in technology· nice to have
