The role

Mills Oakley is seeking a Lawyer/Associate/Senior Associate with 2-8 years of PQE to join their Commercial Disputes & Insolvency team in Melbourne. This role involves advising on a broad range of complex insolvency and commercial dispute matters, working closely with experienced partners and senior lawyers.

What you'll do

Advise on corporate and personal insolvency matters
Advise on bankruptcy and liquidation disputes
Advise on enforcement and debt recovery proceedings
Advise on restructuring and insolvency-related matters
Advise on commercial and contractual disputes
Advise on shareholder and director disputes
Undertake court appearances and advocacy

What we're looking for

2-8 years' post admission experience

Experience in insolvency, commercial litigation, restructuring, bankruptcy or disputes work

Strong drafting, analytical and problem-solving skills

Excellent communication and client relationship skills

A commercial and pragmatic approach to legal advice

The ability to manage matters with appropriate supervision and work effectively as part of a team
