The role

Hall & Wilcox is seeking an experienced Associate with 4+ years of PQE in Property law to join their national Property & Projects practice group in Melbourne. The role involves managing a variety of real estate projects for a diverse client base.

What you'll do

Be involved in a broad range of real estate projects for a diverse client base
Land assembly and compulsory acquisition
Renewable energy and energy projects
Sale and purchase of real estate
Commercial and retail leasing

What we're looking for

At least 4 years of post-admission experience in property law

Significant experience across general real estate law matters

Strong client service ethos

Excellent technical and drafting skills

Strong analytical and legal research skills

Ability to manage files for a range of real estate transaction and general property matters with minimal supervision

Good ability to delegate to and supervise junior lawyers in the team

Proactive attitude to embracing technology in legal practice

Technical expert in property law who can apply problem solving and judgement to achieve legally and commercially strong solutions· nice to have
