Dispute Resolution - Associate at King & Wood

The role

King & Wood is seeking an Associate to join their Dispute Resolution practice in Hong Kong. This role is for a lawyer with 2-4 years of PQE, focusing on litigation within the construction and infrastructure sectors.

What you'll do

Handle disputes and advisory work in relation to construction and infrastructure projects, commercial matters, banking and finance, insolvency, competition and employment
Handle mediation, arbitration, litigation and other forms of ADR
Work effectively with different partners and juniors in the team
Provide robust, strategic legal advice to clients to ensure that their needs and objectives in contentious matters are met efficiently and professionally

What we're looking for

2-4 years PQE with relevant construction/commercial litigation and arbitration experience

Experience gained in an international law firm preferred

Strong technical excellence and experience in leading and managing a diverse portfolio of contentious matters

Fluency in English (verbal and written)

Proficiency in spoken Mandarin/Cantonese and written Chinese

Ability to act proactively and provide robust, strategic legal advice to clients
