The role

Sidley Austin LLP is seeking an Associate for its Global Finance practice in New York. This role is for a lawyer with 2+ years of experience in fund finance, focusing on representing financial institutions and investment vehicles in complex funding and derivatives transactions.

What you'll do

Represent financial institutions, alternative lenders, and other investment vehicles on funding finance products and derivatives transactions
Draft financing documents for complex deals
Work on highly structured and bespoke transactions

What we're looking for

2+ years of experience in fund finance

Experience with NAV financings, subscription financings, asset-backed financings, secured lending, and/or derivatives

Experience drafting financing documents for complex deals

Admitted or eligible for admission to the New York bar

Experience representing financial institutions, alternative lenders, and other investment vehicles· nice to have

Experience with highly structured and bespoke transactions· nice to have
