Associate, Energy, Infrastructure, Project and Asset Finance (EIPAF)

The role

White & Case is seeking an Associate with 3-5 years of PQE for its Energy, Infrastructure, Project and Asset Finance (EIPAF) practice in New York. This role will focus on handling complex legal tasks related to energy and infrastructure transactions, providing essential support to partners and senior colleagues.

What you'll do

• Support in various aspects of transaction preparation, including conducting legal research, drafting filings, and other related documents such as term sheets and purchase agreements
• Assist in developing transactions strategies by analyzing legal issues and contributing to strategy discussions with senior lawyers
• Support in due diligence process by reviewing and analyzing financial statements, contracts and other relevant documents
• Coordinate various aspects of transaction processes, manage timelines, and ensure that all necessary steps are completed efficiently
• Manage case files, organizing case materials and ensuring deadlines and procedural requirements are met
• Work towards development of transactions legal skills and expertise in the field
• Co-ordinate work of more junior members of the team
• Coach and develop more junior lawyers
