Associate - Finance Litigation at TLT

The role

This is an Associate - Finance Litigation role at TLT in Glasgow/Edinburgh for a Solicitor with approximately 5 years of PQE. The role focuses on financial services litigation and commercial dispute resolution, working closely with partners on complex cases.

What you'll do

Be involved with varied work spanning financial services with clients including clearing banks, private banks, building societies and/or niche lenders together with commercial dispute resolution cases
Work closely alongside partners on complex work, projects and the long-term development of the team
Collaborate with colleagues across other teams and office locations
Participate in business development
Nurture new and existing client relationships

What we're looking for

Scottish, E&W or dual-qualified Solicitor

Financial or commercial litigation background

Forward thinker with excellent analytical, communication and organisational skills

Self-motivated with the ability to manage workloads and deadlines

Commercial awareness with enthusiasm for business development and an appetite for keeping up-to-date with the latest legal developments

Ability to understand client’s business needs and act in the best interest of the firm and the client

Ambitious and enthusiastic team player able to support senior fee earners and contribute to a collaborative culture
