Solicitor - Dispute Resolution

The role

Shakespeare Martineau is seeking a Solicitor with 2-3 years of PQE to join their Dispute Resolution practice in London. This role focuses on complex commercial disputes, including cross-border litigation and arbitration, and is suitable for an individual eager to specialise and develop expertise in this area.

What you'll do

• Work alongside experienced partners and senior lawyers to support a wide range of complex commercial disputes, including cross-border and multi-jurisdictional matters
• Assist on high-value and high-profile litigation and arbitration matters, with appropriate supervision
• Manage your own caseload of more straightforward matters as you develop
• Handle client and internal enquiries efficiently and professionally
• Liaise directly with clients and other stakeholders
• Work effectively to meet strict deadlines in a fast-paced environment, including on urgent injunctive relief and time-sensitive matters
• Involvement with business development opportunities
• Support international practice on cross-border disputes
