Key requirements
An experienced Senior Associate Solicitor with 7+ years PQE Experience leading on defendant multi-track Catastrophic Loss and Personal injury cases, including Road Traffic Accidents (RTAs), Employers’ Liability (EL), and Public Liability (PL) Strong technical knowledge of personal injury law, liability, and quantum assessment Exceptional analytical, organisational, and communication skills
The role
DWF is seeking an ambitious Senior Associate for their Catastrophic Loss team in Manchester. This role focuses on handling complex, high-value personal injury and catastrophic loss cases, representing leading insurers and advising clients on liability, quantum, and litigation strategy.
What you'll do
- Handle a multi-track personal injury and catastrophic loss caseload
- Lead junior team members on high value complex cases
- Advise clients, including insurers and corporate clients, on liability, quantum, and litigation strategy
- Draft documents
- Prepare for court
- Engage in settlement negotiations
- Develop and maintain strong client relationships through excellent service delivery
- Stay updated on legal developments in catastrophic injury and insurance law
What we're looking for
An experienced Senior Associate Solicitor with 7+ years PQE
Experience leading on defendant multi-track Catastrophic Loss and Personal injury cases, including Road Traffic Accidents (RTAs), Employers’ Liability (EL), and Public Liability (PL)
Strong technical knowledge of personal injury law, liability, and quantum assessment
Exceptional analytical, organisational, and communication skills
Proven ability to build and maintain strong client relationships
A commitment to delivering outstanding service and results
Strong academics
Experience leading on claim values ranging from £150,000 to £20 million· nice to have
