Real Estate Finance Senior Associate

The role

BCLP is seeking a Real Estate Finance Senior Associate to join its Finance and Real Estate practice in London. This role is for an experienced lawyer who will lead on complex, high-value real estate finance transactions for a diverse client base.

What you'll do

• Lead on Real Estate Finance deals and CRE Structured Debt deals for a broad range of assets for a wide range of both lender and sponsor clients
• Draft finance documents including complex facility agreements, fee letters, syndication letters, mezzanine documentation, priority arrangements and intercreditor agreements
• Understand how to finance the full range of real estate assets and the full range of financing tools from vanilla investment work to structured debt and large scale developments
• Manage deal teams including junior associates, trainees and paralegals both from within Real Estate Finance and throughout the firm in the UK and globally
• Develop and deepen client relationships
• Take a lead role in client teams both developing the client relationship and managing the BCLP client service delivery
• Get involved in sector and specialist experience teams to continue to develop own expertise and share knowledge with colleagues
• Support the Partners and other senior team members in with the supervision and development of more junior lawyers
