Associate - Corporate Reorganisations at Baker McKenzie

The role

Baker McKenzie is seeking an Associate with 2-4 years of PQE to join its Corporate Reorganisations practice in London. This role is for an ambitious lawyer with strong technical legal skills, client care instincts, and organisational ability, focusing on advising multinational corporates on business transformation projects.

What you'll do

Advise and support leading multi-national corporates on their business transformation projects
Develop relationships with clients, including understanding clients' businesses, economic drivers, markets, and sectors in order to deliver relevant and commercial advice and contribute to growing the relationship and winning further work
Engage in business development activities, and be active in the promotion of the firm and seeking opportunities for new work
Take an active role in sharing knowledge and experience across the team and the wider practice

What we're looking for

2 – 4 years PQE

Strong English company law experience

Excellent written communication and legal drafting skills

Commerciality

Ability to develop strong relationships with clients

Outstanding communication skills

Ability to work well in both a team and individually

Strong analytical skills

Willingness to learn

Open and co-operative attitude
