Lawyer - Real Estate - Property

The role

K&L Gates is seeking a lawyer with 3-5 years of experience to join their Real Estate practice in Sydney. This role focuses on property transactions and commercial leasing matters, working under property partner Jennifer McCosker and her team.

What you'll do

• Work closely with Jennifer McCosker, other members of the team and other practice groups on a variety of real estate and commercial leasing matters
• Assist clients with their acquisitions and disposals of development sites and built form assets
• Advise on property developments, urban renewal projects and ongoing real estate advisory matters
• Assist clients with their investment and co-investment structuring
• Act for landlords and tenants on commercial and major leasing requirements
• Act on property aspects of renewable energy and infrastructure projects
• Support other teams within the firm on the property aspects of their major projects and transactions
• Support the team to deliver high-quality mid-level / junior lawyer support on ongoing and upcoming client matters
• Contribute to knowledge and learning resources
