Tax Attorney (Fund Formation): 2-5 years at Cooley

The role

Cooley seeks a Tax Attorney with 2-5 years of PQE in fund formation for its Chicago office. This role will focus on tax aspects of representing fund sponsors and investors in venture funds and private equity funds.

What we're looking for

2-5 years of tax experience representing fund sponsors and investors

Experience focused on venture funds and private equity funds

Experience advising on investment fund formations, primary and secondary investments, and joint ventures

High level of motivation, initiative and excellent problem solving skills

Strong client relations skills and experience handling several concurrent ongoing matters

High level of academic achievement from a nationally recognized law school
