The role

Morrison & Foerster is seeking a mid-level Finance (Sponsor Finance) Associate Attorney with 3-6 years of experience in finance law. This role will focus on representing private equity sponsors, private companies, and borrowers in secured transactions, particularly acquisition financings and refinancings, and is based in New York, Denver, or San Francisco.

What we're looking for

3-6 years of finance experience at a top-tier law firm

Primarily representing private equity sponsors, private companies, and other borrowers in secured transactions, particularly in connection with acquisition financings and refinancings

Member of the State Bar of California

Strong initiative

Excellent interpersonal skills

Demonstrable client relationship skills

Ability to communicate complex matters clearly and concisely in oral and written form

Eager to grow professionally and actively contribute to firm and practice initiatives
