Real Estate Associate - Bristol at CMS

The role

CMS is seeking a Real Estate Associate with 1-3 years of PQE to join their highly regarded Real Estate team in Bristol. This role will focus on supporting national and international investors and developers with residential transactional matters.

What we're looking for

1-3 years PQE

Experience dealing with statutory lease extension claims under the Leasehold Reform Housing and Urban Development Act 1993

Experience drafting and negotiating leases

Experience drafting and advising on residential tenancies including assured periodic tenancies and familiarity with the Renters Rights Act 2025 and Tenant Fees Act 2019

Experience dealing with licences to alter, licences to assign and deeds of variation

Experience dealing with sales and purchases and refinance of residential and mixed use property

Experience dealing with collective enfranchisement claims· nice to have

Some knowledge of rights of first refusal under the Landlord and Tenant Act 1987· nice to have
