The role
Sidley Austin LLP seeks an Energy & Infrastructure Associate with 3+ years of PQE to join its Energy, Transportation & Infrastructure practice in Washington D.C. This role focuses on representing market participants in renewable and energy transition finance and M&A transactions.
What you'll do
- Represent sponsors, developers, investors, financial institutions, and other market participants in renewable and energy transition finance and M&A transactions
What we're looking for
3+ years of experience
Experience in project finance and tax equity transactions in the U.S. renewables and power sector and/or energy project development experience
Negotiation of material project agreements (e.g., PPA, EPC, O&M, etc.)
Team players with strong interpersonal skills
Ability to manage complex transactions
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Comfortable with client interaction
Admitted to practice law in the local jurisdiction
Prior law firm experience
