Associate / Senior Associate - Health Commercial

The role

Hill Dickinson is seeking an Associate or Senior Associate for its Health Commercial and Procurement team in Leeds or Newcastle. This role offers the opportunity to advise NHS and independent healthcare organisations on a wide range of procurement and commercial matters within a growing business group.

What you'll do

• Advise a range of contracting authorities and bidders on a range of procurement and contractual matters under the Public Contracts Regulations 2015, Procurement Act 2023 and the Provider Selection Regime in respect of procurement
• Draft and advise on procurement documentation
• Advise on potential challenges to procurement processes (working with our commercial dispute resolution team on litigated matters)
• Draft contractual terms and conditions including framework agreements, call-off terms, bespoke contracts, licensing arrangements and data protection documentation
• Work on innovative contracting models including joint ventures, alliance agreements and collaboration arrangements
• Support the wider team on commercial and regulatory work on a broad range of day to day matters for NHS and independent sector clients
• Support business development strategies of the team and wider business group and present as the face of the firm to clients and intermediaries
• Work with the wider office team to proactively promote and raise the profile of Hill Dickinson, including attending networking events and participating in corporate social responsibility initiatives
• Develop your own relationships with clients / intermediaries
