The role
K&L Gates is seeking a Junior Commercial Disputes Associate with 2-4 years of experience in litigation for their Charlotte office. This role is for candidates who can independently conduct legal research, draft pleadings and motions, and manage discovery for commercial litigation matters.

What we're looking for
Two to four years of experience handling general commercial litigation matters
Experience independently conducting legal research
Experience drafting substantive pleadings, motions, and other litigation-related documents
Experience managing all phases of discovery, including e-discovery
Excellent legal writing skills
J.D. from an accredited law school
Admitted to or eligible for admission to the North Carolina Bar
Strong academic credentials
Exceptional written and oral communication skills
Demonstrated commitment to delivering the highest quality client service
Judicial clerkship experience· nice to have
