The role
Watson Farley & Williams is seeking an Associate with 3-5 years of M&A experience to join their London office. This role is within the Corporate Group, focusing on high-value, complex transactions in the firm's core sectors of energy, infrastructure, and transport.
What you'll do
- Advise clients on high-value, complex transactions
- Work across domestic and international M&A, corporate finance, private equity and venture capital, strategic projects and alliances
- Provide general corporate and commercial advice
- Gain exposure to a broad range of work
- Develop sector expertise over time
- Support business development
- Undertake client secondments
What we're looking for
3-5 years PQE working in the corporate department of a City, international, or leading regional law firm
Proven technical legal skills in corporate transactions
The experience and ability to operate autonomously
A hands-on, flexible attitude to providing high quality client service
Qualification as a Solicitor in England & Wales or other common law jurisdiction· nice to have
Experience or an interest in the firm's industry sectors (energy, infrastructure, transport)· nice to have
