Employment Associate or Senior Associate (Perth) at Hall & Wilcox

The role

Hall & Wilcox is seeking an experienced Employment Associate or Senior Associate for their Perth office. This role focuses on contentious and non-contentious employment and industrial relations matters for medium to large national and international employers.

What you'll do

Provide legal support to Partners on matters relating to employment law and industrial relations matters
Demonstrate a thorough understanding of complex legal concepts, and creatively apply legal knowledge to client situations to provide solutions to problems
Draft legal documents, advices and handle multiple matters at any one time
Maintain high level of communication with clients regarding progress of matters
Work as part of a talented team on large and complex litigation matters and industrial disputes including general protections, discrimination and unfair dismissal claims

What we're looking for

3-6 years of post-admission experience, specifically in employment and industrial relations law

Experience from a large national or international law firm, or a specialist employment law practice

Excellent technical, analytical and drafting skills with a keen attention to detail

Outstanding verbal and written communication skills

Ability to organise and prioritise effectively

Strong commitment to client service, ability to manage client relationships and a focus on achieving commercial solutions

Proactive and able to work both autonomously and as part of a collaborative team
