The role
Ashurst Perkins Coie is seeking a Leveraged & Corporate Finance Lawyer with 2-5 years of experience to join their Finance and M&A practice in Sydney, Australia. This role will focus on complex corporate and leveraged finance transactions within the Global Loans team.
What we're looking for
2-5 years' loan markets legal experience gained within a top-tier law firm, respected mid-tier firm or in-house with a focus on leveraged finance or an interest in working in corporate and leveraged finance following experience in general corporate finance
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
Superior analytical and drafting skills
A commercial approach and an ability to articulate and negotiate effectively
Strong attention to detail with well-developed analytical skills
The ability to be team-focused and provide leadership and mentoring to the juniors in the team whilst also work independently
A proactive, positive and energetic approach with a commitment to providing excellent service, and a desire to interact with the market and build client relationships
