The role
Corrs Chambers Westgarth is seeking an Associate - Tax with 3 years of PQE to join their Sydney office. This role will focus on indirect tax matters, including stamp duty, GST, and land tax, and will involve working with leading tax partners on high-profile and complex cases for multinational corporations.
What you'll do
- Advise on a broad range of high-profile and complex tax matters
- Act for large multinationals and corporates in respect of their dealings with the State Revenue Offices and ATO
- Work on large, high-stakes transactions
- Support clients throughout the complete transaction lifecycle
- Work closely with colleagues across corporate, private equity, real estate, commercial litigation and regulatory practices to deliver integrated, strategic advice
What we're looking for
3 years' post-qualification (PQE) or professional services experience in indirect tax
Experience in stamp duty, GST and land tax
Highly motivated and commercially minded
Ready to take the next step in their career
