Real Estate Associate

The role

Gibson, Dunn & Crutcher is seeking a Real Estate Associate for its London office. This role is for an ambitious lawyer with strong transactional experience, focusing on real estate, data centres, and digital infrastructure, to work on sophisticated UK and cross-border transactions for prestigious clients.

What you'll do

• Draft, review and negotiate agreements for leases
• Prepare and negotiate sale and purchase agreements, transfers, disclosure letters and completion documentation
• Prepare reports and certificates on title for buyers, funders, investors, tenants and corporate and finance teams
• Manage large-volume due diligence exercises, including instructing, supervising and quality-checking the work of junior associates and maintaining accurate title and lease schedules
• Run transactions day to day, including managing timetables, third parties and completion logistics, and keeping clients and partners informed of progress and risk
• Delegate to and supervise more junior team members, depending on seniority
• Communicate clearly and effectively with clients, counterparties and internal teams
