The role
White & Case seeks an Associate with 1-3 years of experience in their Venture Capital practice group to join their Silicon Valley office. This role focuses on representing emerging companies, their founders, and venture capital funds in a wide range of corporate and transactional matters.
What you'll do
- Represent emerging technology and life science companies and venture capital investors in a broad range of corporate and transactional matters, including incorporation, early and late-stage venture financings, mergers and acquisitions, and private and public offerings
- Advise on start-ups, venture capital financing, corporate formations, shareholders agreements, and corporate restructures
- Perform initial drafting for all aspects of mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, private equity transactions, joint ventures and investments for sophisticated public and private clients
- Regularly interact with clients and ensure that their interests are properly represented and protected at all times
- Lead on due diligence
- Conduct and oversee legal research
What we're looking for
