The role

This role is for an experienced Legal Director to join Burges Salmon's top-ranked Construction Disputes practice. The position is for a lawyer with 8+ years of experience in construction-related disputes, focusing on litigation, adjudication, and arbitration, and offers opportunities to lead client relationships and contribute to business development within the Bristol, Edinburgh, or London offices.

What we're looking for

Significant experience in complex, high-value construction disputes

A strong track record of client relationship management, business development and practice growth

Experience supervising, coaching and developing senior associates and other lawyers

Strong matter leadership skills and commercial judgement

A collaborative, inclusive approach and confidence contributing to the team's direction

SRA or Law Society of Scotland registration

8+ years of experience
