Property - Associate/Senior Associate/Special Counsel at Mills Oakley

The role

Mills Oakley is seeking an Associate, Senior Associate, or Special Counsel with 5+ PQE to join their Real Estate practice group in Melbourne. This role focuses on national commercial leasing for a mix of landlord clients, including blue chip and large Australian property groups.

What you'll do

Provide support to clients with the preparation and negotiation of lease and agreement for lease documents
Provide a wide variety of leasing advice
Provide basic leasing disputes advice
Manage existing client relationships
Supervise lawyers
Start or grow your own practice
Work with other teams on cross-referred work

What we're looking for

At least 5 years' experience in a reputable property practice

Strong commercial (non-retail) leasing background

Good level of attention to detail

Good time management skills

Good negotiating ability

Enthusiasm and interpersonal skills to maintain positive client relationships

Experience with institutional landlord clients· nice to have
