Associate - Litigation & Regulation

The role

Byrne Wallace Shields is seeking an Associate with 4-7 years of PQE to join its Litigation & Regulation practice in Dublin, Ireland. This role is for an ambitious lawyer with experience in both dispute resolution and regulatory matters.

What you'll do

• Manage and assist with a range of cases before the superior courts and in alternative dispute resolution
• Manage and assist with a range of regulatory matters including investigations, enforcement actions and strategic advisory work
• Draft correspondence, pleadings, witness statements, submissions and settlement agreements
• Conduct legal research and provide strategic advice
• Liaise with counsel
• Manage and develop client relationships
• Supervise and develop junior colleagues
• Provide support to other business units as required
• Provide ongoing training to colleagues and clients
