Tax - Senior Associate

The role

Byrne Wallace Shields is seeking a Tax Senior Associate for their Dublin office. This role is for an experienced tax professional with 5 years of PQE, focusing on complex legal and tax transactions within the firm's leading Tax practice.

What you'll do

• Advise on all the tax aspects of corporate reorganisation, restructurings and inward investment into Ireland
• Advise on tax aspects of mergers, demergers, acquisitions, disposals, public offerings and corporate finance generally
• Advise on tax aspects of private equity transactions from initial investment to exit
• Advise on tax aspects of property transactions
• Advise on tax aspects of share based remuneration schemes
• Advise on employment taxation
• Advise on VAT and indirect taxes
• Advise on stamp duty
• Advise on tax disputes
• Delegate work to and manage junior team members
• Manage a wide portfolio of clients
• Manage budgets
• Ensure targets are met
