Lawyer - Public Procurement

The role

A&L Goodbody is seeking a Lawyer with 2-5 years of PQE to join their Public Sector practice area in Dublin, Ireland. This role focuses on public procurement law, advising on complex matters for public and private sector clients within a market-leading team.

What you'll do

• Advise contracting authorities and utilities on the design and implementation of procurement processes
• Support bidders through all stages of tender processes, including strategy, clarification questions and submissions
• Draft and advise on tender documentation, framework agreements and public contracts
• Advise on compliance with EU and Irish procurement rules, including remedies and standstill obligations
• Manage procurement-related challenges and litigation before the Irish courts
• Advise on modifications to public contracts and ongoing contract management issues
• Support on strategic projects involving infrastructure, energy, technology and public services
• Advise on the interaction between procurement law and broader regulatory frameworks including State aid and the Foreign Subsidies Regulation
• Prepare and deliver client training, public speaking engagements, presentations and knowledge initiatives on procurement law developments
