The role
McDermott Will & Schulte is seeking a corporate associate with 2+ years of experience to join its M&A practice in Atlanta. The role involves taking ownership of transaction workstreams from inception to closing, requiring strong drafting, negotiation, and client interaction skills.
What you'll do
- Draft, review, and negotiate principal transaction documents and coordinate input across deal teams
- Manage and execute due diligence, identifying and escalating issues
- Help translate diligence findings into transaction documents and deal process planning
- Provide post-closing support
- Drive and organize deal execution and closings, including managing through aggressive timelines
- Collaborate with specialists and help manage cross-functional workflows to keep matters moving on schedule
What we're looking for
