What we're looking for

5-7 years of experience

Experience in law and motion work

Experience leading law and motion work in advance of trial

Experience serving as embedded appellate counsel at trial

Excellent academic credentials

Demonstrated experience in brief writing

Demonstrated experience in case management

Proficiency with all forms of written advocacy at the trial level including dispositive motions, evidentiary motions, jury instructions, and verdict forms

Experience working with large multi-member teams

Experience managing multiple significant matters simultaneously

Ability to manage complex litigation workflows

Ability to coordinate across multiple teams

Ability to drive strategy in cases proceeding toward trial

Comfortable serving as embedded appellate counsel on trial teams

Ability to partner closely with trial counsel to preserve issues for appeal

Ability to develop legal strategy

Ability to lead briefing on complex legal issues

Ability to exercise sound judgment

Ability to manage competing deadlines

Ability to supervise junior attorneys

Ability to communicate effectively with partners, clients, experts, and co-counsel

Demonstrated leadership experience on matters· nice to have
