The role

Thomsons is seeking an Associate or Senior Associate to join their Construction & Infrastructure team in Sydney. This role is for a lawyer with 7+ years of experience who will focus on front-end drafting and negotiation of construction procurement documents and building contracts.

What you'll do

Draft and negotiate front-end construction procurement documents
Draft and negotiate building contracts

What we're looking for

7+ years' PAE working across construction law matters or in a well-regarded litigation practice

Strong drafting skills and attention to detail

Practical and client focused problem solving and research skills

Sound technical legal ability and a genuine interest in working in the construction and infrastructure sector

A professional, commercially-astute and proactive approach to matter management

Ability to manage client expectations and run matters autonomously

Client-focused, and possess strong interpersonal skills
