The role
Clayton Utz is seeking a Senior Associate with 5+ years of PQE for its Major Projects & Construction team in Sydney. This role focuses on complex, high-value construction and infrastructure disputes, acting for public sector and tier 1 contractor clients, with some advisory work.
What you'll do
- Act for large public sector and tier 1 contractor clients on complex, high-value projects claims and disputes
- Undertake some advisory work
- Refine client relationship management skills
- Enhance professional profile in the market
What we're looking for
5+ years post-admission experience as a lawyer
Demonstrated time spent in a Senior Associate (or equivalent) role
A strong academic record
Strong construction or major projects litigation and/or disputes experience gained within a reputable commercial law firm
Well developed and refined drafting skills with exceptional attention to detail
Dedication and commitment to ensuring the delivery of exceptional client service
Ability to work both autonomously and within a multi-disciplinary team
