Lawyer - Restructuring & Insolvency at K&L Gates

The role

K&L Gates is seeking a Lawyer with 3-5 years of PQE in Restructuring & Insolvency for their Sydney office. This role involves working within a collaborative team on complex, high-profile domestic and international restructuring, insolvency, and litigation matters.

What you'll do

Act for Australia’s leading banks on complex restructuring and securities enforcement matters
Act for receivers and managers as well as administrators and liquidators on the external administration of insolvent entities
Advise on various complex domestic and international restructuring, insolvency and litigation matters
Contribute knowledge and learning resources, including precedents
Participate in business development and client relationship activities

What we're looking for

Lawyer (3 - 5 years PQE)

Strong restructuring experience

Strong insolvency experience

Strong litigation experience

Experience in a similar firm on similar matters or in-house experience

Previous exposure to large banking litigation matters

Previous exposure to insolvency matters

Previous exposure to general commercial litigation

Previous exposure to managed investment scheme litigation

Previous exposure to loan recovery

Previous exposure to securities enforcement

Practical and proactive approach

Strong leadership skills

Strong problem-solving skills

High level of client service

Excellent organisation skills
