The role
Jackson McDonald is seeking a Senior Insurance Lawyer with 5+ years of PQE in Perth, Australia. This role focuses on defendant workers compensation and public liability matters, offering the opportunity to manage files independently and build client relationships within the firm's Employment and Insurance practice.

What we're looking for
Minimum of 5 years post-admission experience
Meaningful experience managing a file load of defendant workers compensation and public liability matters
Strong knowledge of the statutory workers compensation system and legal principles relevant to common law claims
Motivation and drive to deliver responsive, consistent service to clients
Exceptional attention to detail and sound legal judgment
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Confidence acting in a client-facing role
Understanding and knowledge in the use of various IT systems
Ability to work autonomously while still contributing to a close, collaborative team
Willingness to coach, mentor and become a great supervisor to junior lawyers
Pride in delivering high-quality work and building lasting client relationships
