The role
McCann FitzGerald is seeking an Associate in its Corporate Group with a focus on public company (PLC) matters and M&A. This role is suitable for a solicitor with 1-5 years of PQE and can be based in either Dublin or London.
What you'll do
- Advise on public and private M&A
- Advise on shareholder activism and disputes
- Advise on corporate redomiciliations, reorganisations, schemes of arrangement and restructurings
What we're looking for
1-5 years PQE in corporate law
Specific experience in public company work
Qualified as a solicitor in Ireland or another common law jurisdiction
Excellent academic background
Strong document drafting skills
Excellent communication and analytical skills
A high degree of commercial awareness
Excellent organisational and prioritisation skills
Ability to manage a busy workload and client needs on a consistent basis
