The role
King & Spalding is seeking a mid-level Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A) Associate with 3-5 years of experience for its Corporate/ECVC/M&A practice. This role, based in Northern Virginia, Miami, or Silicon Valley, will focus on M&A transactions, venture capital, and private equity investments within the technology sector.
What you'll do
- Provide general corporate counseling for high-growth technology companies
- Work on venture capital and private equity investments
- Focus on M&A transactions spanning technology sectors, including defense tech, fintech, life sciences, healthcare, and AI
What we're looking for
3-5 years of experience working on emerging company, venture capital, and technology M&A transactions
Excellent analytical skills

Ability to work collaboratively across teams and offices
Superior academic credentials from a top-tier law school
Previous large law firm experience
