The role
Wilson Sonsini is seeking an attorney with 3-5 years of experience in government contracts and grants to join its National Security practice group in Washington D.C. This role focuses on advising clients on compliance, administration, and negotiation of government contracts and grants, with applications in M&A and financing transactions.
What you'll do
- Advise clients on government contracts and grants terms, compliance and administration
- Assist with the negotiation of prime and subcontracts and teaming agreements
- Advise deal teams, clients and investors on government contracts and grants in the context of M&A and financing transactions (e.g., diligence, novations)
What we're looking for
3-5 years of experience in government contracts and grants
Experience with OTAs, the SBA and SBIR rules, GSA/FSS programs and financial assistance agreements
Strong academics
Highly skilled communicators who work well as part of a team
In-house experience· nice to have
Experience in foreign investment, export controls, sanctions, FCC, FAA· nice to have
