Solicitor / Associate - Banking

The role

Shakespeare Martineau is seeking a Banking Solicitor / Associate with 2-7 years of PQE to join their Finance practice in Nottingham, United Kingdom. This role is for an individual with strong technical skills, commercial awareness, and a keen interest in business development, who is ready to expand their client portfolio within a successful team.

What you'll do

• Work alongside senior lawyers to provide assistance on all aspects of banking, including banking transactions and document production
• Assist on large complex deals with appropriate supervision
• Build up your own caseload of straightforward matters
• Carry out post-completion administration
• Attend and be involved in business development and marketing events
• Develop relationships with clients
