Senior Associate | Tax

The role

Hamilton Locke is seeking a Senior Associate | Tax lawyer with 4+ years of PQE to join their Sydney office. This role involves advising sophisticated businesses on corporate and transactional tax, international tax, and tax controversy matters.

What you'll do

• Advise sophisticated businesses, investors, founders, family offices and multinational groups on their most important transactions and disputes
• Work across corporate and transactional tax advisory
• Engage in M&A structuring, due diligence and post-acquisition integration
• Handle cross-border transactions and international tax planning
• Provide private capital and family office advisory
• Deal with transfer pricing and cross-border financing arrangements
• Manage tax controversy, audits, disputes and litigation
• Work on employee share schemes and complex restructuring projects
• Develop direct client relationships
• Contribute to business development initiatives
