Senior Associate - Derivatives & General Banking at Norton Rose Fulbright

The role

Norton Rose Fulbright's Sydney office is seeking a Senior Associate for their Finance practice, specifically within Derivatives & General Banking. This role is for an experienced lawyer with 5+ years of PQE, primarily focusing on complex OTC derivatives transactions and regulatory advice.

What you'll do

Advise domestic and international financial institutions on complex OTC derivatives transactions and related derivatives regulations
Work on a variety of other transactions in the structured and general corporate/property finance space, including asset, equipment and receivables financing, financial services & banking regulation, corporate & working capital finance, and property finance

What we're looking for

Demonstrated experience in derivatives and structured finance gained at a reputable national or international law firm or in-house at a leading financial institution

At least 5+ years post qualification experience

Ability to work independently and also as a part of a team with multiple partners within the group

Ability to build and grow a network and assist with business development and marketing initiatives

Eligible to practice law in Australia
